Inspired by the legendary Scottish indie label Postcard Records (1979-1981) “The Sound Of Young Scotland” slogan was a tribute to Motown Records and in turn “The Sound Of Young California” adorns this tee for Curation Records. Postcard used Western imagery on their labels and artwork and their great groups Orange Juice and Aztec Camera were influenced by the Los Angeles canyon heroes Buffalo Springfield and Love. Postcard was the label that truly defined my version on DIY and opened my eyes to what you could do with some friends, some guitars, some paper, glue and a dream. This tee is a tribute to Alan Horne and the bands and records released on Postcard Records.  B_Rad
